Participant Guidelines

  1. Eligibility: Participants must be 18 years of age or older as of April 18, 2026, and must have received an acceptance email and completed check-in with the FullyHacks team at the beginning of the event.​

  2. Conduct: All participants are expected to maintain a respectful and professional demeanor towards fellow participants, organizers, and sponsors. Any form of discrimination or harassment will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification.​

  3. Confidentiality: Participants must refrain from sharing confidential information about their company, school, or any other organization during the event.​

  4. Responsibility for Personal Property: Participants are responsible for their own equipment, devices, and any other materials used during the event.​

  5. Compliance with Laws and University Policies: Participants must not engage in any illegal activities or conduct that would violate any laws or regulations, including California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) campus rules and regulations.​

  6. Consequences of Misconduct: Any breach of these rules can result in disqualification from the event.​

  7. Authority of Organizers: The event organizers reserve the right to make final decisions in case of any disputes or violations of the rules.​

Project Guidelines

  1. Team Composition: Projects must be developed by teams consisting of 1-4 members, all of whom must adhere to the Participant Guidelines. All team members must be present and actively participating during the hackathon event.​

  2. Original Work: All projects must be initiated during the hackathon event and should not be pre-existing projects.​

  3. Plagiarism: Projects must be original work and should not include any plagiarized content. Any use of pre-existing libraries or frameworks must be acknowledged and properly cited.​

  4. Appropriate Content: Projects should not include graphic content, including sexualization, violence, or any other material that is not appropriate for a public audience.​

  5. Consequences of Violations: Any violation of these guidelines may result in disqualification from the event.​

  6. Authority of Organizers: The event organizers reserve the right to make final decisions in case of any disputes or violations of the rules.​
